Reflection on May 2, 2013 Medjugorje Message

Dear Friends:

Like many who are voicing their thoughts about Our Lady’s recent message given to Mirjana on May 2, 2013, I also have been doing a full examination of conscience. Especially after her message of 4/25/13 when she also said that we are still far away from her.

Then I begin to wonder myself, how am I offending the Lord? Where am I judging? Where am I gossiping? How am I not loving? Am I heading down the path to perdition as she said many of her own children are doing?

Earlier this year, the Mother of God declared that ‘satan was cunning and leading many souls into perdition.” All we have to do is look around us and see all the meyhem and chaos that is going on with government, politics, world leaders, uprisings, hatreds, wars, persecutions, and all the wars in the family, family tree and more. Well now that puts it more into perspective doesn’t it?

But what about me personally? All war begets in the heart before it is manifested into the world, and around us. Something stirs inside of us when we just don’t like something, and then it begins to fester and grow, until we begin to get angry and more bent out of shape, which then causes divisions, distractions, then we accuse and start the battles. I’m sure you all know what I mean.

So now we have to see it from this view. The Mother of God, sent from heaven is coming to the earth to convey a message from God. God is looking upon the earth and what does He see and hear on this earth?

This is what God said through her in this message that comes from Heaven and how the world is offending the Lord in the present time.

“Dear children; Anew, I am calling you to love and not to judge. My Son, according to the will of the Heavenly Father, was among you to show you the way of salvation, to save you and not to judge you. If you desire to follow my Son, you will not judge but love like your Heavenly Father loves you. And when it is the most difficult for you, when you are falling under the weight of the cross do not despair, do not judge, instead remember that you are loved and praise the Heavenly Father because of His love. My children, do not deviate from the way on which I am leading you. Do not recklessly walk into perdition. May prayer and fasting strengthen you so that you can live as the Heavenly Father would desire; that you may be my apostles of faith and love; that your life may bless those whom you meet; that you may be one with the Heavenly Father and my Son. My children, that is the only truth, the truth that leads to your conversion, and then to the conversion of all those whom you meet – those who have not come to know my Son – all those who do not know what it means to love. My children, my Son gave you a gift of the shepherds. Take good care of them. Pray for them. Thank you.” ( May 2, 2013 )

When I prayed about this message in my own examination of conscience I was given a simple remedy. That remedy was the:

Prayer of St. Faustina for the Grace to Be Merciful to Others.

If one prays this prayer, then he/she will be conscious of how they in themselves are committing sin.

Friends, Our Lady is directing this to everyone. There is no one excluded. But she emphasized very clearly who she is speaking to; ‘those who desire to follow Jesus her Son’.

“…If you desire to follow my Son, you will not judge but love like your Heavenly Father loves you. And when it is most difficult for you, when you are falling under the weight of the cross do not despair, do not judge, instead remember that you are loved, and praise the Heavenly Father because of His love….“

We have much to be angry about. Sin is ugly and it has an ugly face. And we easily direct our hatred to those who commit such ugly offenses against us because we see their face, and not what is behind the face. We forget however, we also offend others, by our own self righteousness, boasting in ourselves thinking that we are all doing what we should be doing living out our faith and so on, while we get angry at those who are not. I encounter and have had many conversations about all the sinners in the Church, he/she does or does not like this person, this priest, this or that.

We forget that we are just these ones we complain about if it were not for the grace of God! What High expectations we put on others without them knowing we have placed them on them!

Let us not forget friends, the burden of responsibility falls on those who are in His grace. Those who have the light, and walk in truth to be good examples, of Christian love. Jesus loved us in our mess and in our sin. He came to us right where we were in our ugliness and raised us up, and taught us about His mercy and gave us a gift of conversion of heart to love him. We have to pray for the same grace for those who do not know Him.

Forgive me Lord!

We are called to love and forgive just as He has done for us, if you are walking with Jesus. Believe me I am preaching to myself here. But the time is urgent now. Just look around you and see how many unbelievers you encounter every day, beginning in the home. How are they going to know the love of God, if they are not experiencing it through the ones who say they love them.

I say this beginning with me. Dying to self, and conquering and overcoming all the pains and the wounds, and the hurts caused to us, to love another, is a heroic act.

But Our Lady made it clear, prayer and fasting and acts of penance is where the strength comes to do this.

We pray every day the Lord’s prayer to forgive us AS WE FORGIVE OTHERS. Here is a condition on the mercy of God. If we are not forgiving, neither will we be forgiven ourselves. We really need to check our hearts. I have posted not to long ago also Healing Prayer of Forgiveness that can be found in this sight. We really need to be working on our hearts in this time.

Pray for the grace to fast. On a separate post I will post St. Fuastina’s prayer to be merciful so all can refer when they find it difficult to exercise mercy. And let us all hold each other up in prayer in this difficult time.

Reckless behavior is leading souls to perdition. The world is very dark in this time and seems to be sinking more and more into an abyss of sin. Only the Lord God can pull us out of it. Let us thank the Lord for sending Our Lady who is the pillar of light to guide us in the darkness.

Do not underestimate the power of prayer and fasting. Our Lady has declared so often that through prayer and fasting, laws of nature can be suspended and wars stopped. How important is prayer and fasting for us today in our very difficult time.

April 25, 2013 Medjugorje Monthly Message

Dear children, Pray, pray, keep praying until your heart opens in faith as a flower opens to the warm rays of the sun. This is a time of grace which God gives you through my presence but you are far from my heart, therefore, I call you to personal conversion and to family prayer. May Sacred Scripture always be an incentive for you. I bless you all with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.

How sad it is to hear that after 32 + years Our Lady is still saying that we as Church are still far from her. Conversion is most important in this time, especially in the family.

Pray, pray, pray, and pray unceasingly. This is non-stop prayer. This is what is most important in this time. There is nothing more important. We do not know how long the Lord will permit this time of grace. Therefore, pray and console the sorrowful heart of your Mother.

“Do not Shut your Eyes to the Warning…” March 2, 2013 Medjugorje Message

I had a wow experience with this message in a personal way. This message came on the first Saturday of the month. A day Our Lady asked in Fatima to make reparation for the offenses committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and her Immaculate Heart.

I was at a local retreat center attending an all night vigil for just this…that is in reparation for the Two Hearts of Jesus and Mary, on the first Friday and Saturday of the month. It was not until into the evening on Friday when I realized that the 2nd of the month message would come for unbelievers and it would be apparition time during the night. I was so excited to be united with Our Lady in prayer during this apparition. And ironically I was given the post to sit with the Lord between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. which is exactly when the apparition was occurring in Medjugorje. And the intention for that hour unbeknown to the one who gave me the intention was to pray for unbelievers and those who have separated themselves from God and His Church. God is so good!

As though this message were speaking directly to me, even though I know it was to the world, particularly for those who do not know the love of God; Our Lady said specifically, in the below message,

“….My children, keep vigil. I, as a mother, am keeping vigil with you. I am especially praying and watching over those whom my Son called to be light-bearers and carriers of hope for you – for your shepherds. Thank you.”

Her words not only penetrated my heart to the very depth but I understood in them that she was united with us who all remained awake with her in all night prayer, and how important this is for our faith life; that is STAY AWAKE be ready.

After I was able to ponder her words in spirit and in prayer, I asked her to help me to contemplate the meaning of this message,and the monthly message of 2/25/13 given to Marija. And she began to open her message to my heart.

Father forgive them, they know not what they do

I will give the reflection in parts as to take time to absorb in the heart the seriousness of the Mother of God’s messages.

Reflect below on her words:

“Dear children! Anew, in a motherly way, I am calling you not to be of a hard heart. Do not shut your eyes to the warnings which the Heavenly Father sends to you out of love. Do you love Him above all else? Do you repent for having often forgotten that the Heavenly Father, out of His great love, sent his Son to redeem us by the Cross? Do you repent for not yet having accepted the message? My children, do not resist the love of my Son. Do not resist hope and peace. Along with your prayer and fasting, by His cross, my Son will cast away the darkness that wants to surround you and come to rule over you. He will give you the strength for a new life. Living it according to my Son, you will be a blessing and a hope to all those sinners who wander in the darkness of sin. My children, keep vigil. I, as a mother, am keeping vigil with you. I am especially praying and watching over those whom my Son called to be light-bearers and carriers of hope for you – for your shepherds. Thank you.”>

Beginning with the first two sentences of her message,

“Dear children! Anew, in a motherly way, I am calling you not to be of a hard heart. Do not shut your eyes to the warnings which the Heavenly Father sends to you out of love….”

This was the attention getter for me. In her motherly way she is telling her child to quit being so hardened in the heart. And immediately the psalm came forth “…if today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts…”

And who is she speaking to? Her own children. These are the ones as I have often said IN THE CHURCH first. Yes to the world, but she said clearly, “MY CHILDREN…” You are the ones who Jesus gave to her at the foot of the cross. You are ones consecrated to her, who say you belong to her, and who say you love her.

Now lets hear this message and where you hear her say, “my children, or dear children” insert your name into the place of children. Because she is talking to you and me.

As a Mother I could relate to this message. I had an image of Our Lady being in a kitchen of the House of God, the place where the family eats the meal together. I saw the Mother talking to her children, admonishing them with a stern warning in a motherly way…(let’s think of a good Jewish mother here); who is trying the raise the conscience of her children. (I can hear myself say this to my own children, so I can appreciate the following words of the message which come as an examination of conscience.

So to ponder her message in the following reflection, we will reflect on Our Lady’s words as an examination of conscience in this Lenten time.

Do not take this lightly friends. Because Our Lady makes no bones about this message. She sternly said ‘DO NOT SHUT YOUR EYES TO THE WARNINGS WHICH THE HEAVENLY FATHER SENDS YOU…’

Anyone asking what warning the Heavenly Father is sending. The word WARNING is no accident here. Because part of the secrets are warnings to the world. And the visionaries have clearly indicated, we are entering into it, while the church is going to go through an ordeal.

Take to heart her words, and continue to reflect on them in the coming days. Ave Maria!

This is a great spiritual exercise for individuals, families, healing ministries and retreat groups

The Lord says that the fasting He desires is to set the oppressed free. There is much oppression when we are not able to forgive someone and hold a grudge against them.

Spend time in this prayer as a healing for yourself and to those whom may have hurt or sinned against you, and for those you may have caused hurt or pain to yourself. Remember, it is natural to still feel hurt and/or pain for any wrong that has been done to us. But taking steps to consciously forgive, and bringing Jesus into the pain will help begin the healing process, and take the power away from satan who wants to keep us in the pain because it is an open door for him to enter and provoke us to sin.

After each exercise, list as much as you can and bring it all to Jesus at the foot of the cross and visibly nail the pain to the cross to console the heart of Jesus, and watch what He does with the pain you have given to him in return.

Prayer of forgiveness

Loving Father, through Jesus your beloved Son, crucified on the cross I choose to forgive everyone in my life, including myself because you have forgiven me. Thank you Lord, for this grace. I forgive myself for all my sins, faults and failings, especially (list all the things you cannot forgive yourself for). I forgive myself for not being perfect, I accept myself and make a decision to stop picking on myself and being my own worst enemy. I release the things that I hold against myself and free myself from bondage and make peace with myself by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I forgive my Mother in her human weakness for any negativity and unlove she may have caused t me throughout my life, knowing or unknowingly, especially for _____________ Or for any abuse of any sort, I forgive her today. For any way that she did not provide a deep, full satisfying mother’s blessing. I do forgive her today. I release her from bondage and make peace with her today before Jesus crucified, and I ask Jesus in His mercy to cover her with His divine grace.

Heavenly Father, I now ask for the grace to forgive the ONE PERSON IN MY LIFE WHO HAS HURT ME THE MOST for the sake of my love for Jesus your Son who loves and forgives them and died for them. This one is the hardest for me to forgive, but I now choose to forgive them before Jesus, even through I am still angry and hurt. I also make peace with the one family member, the one friend and the one authority figure who has hurt me the most.

Lord, is there anyone else that I need to forgive? (Be still and listen for what may come to your heart)

Thank you Father for the immeasurable love you have for me and for your Son Jesus who is setting me free in this moment. I now pray that your blessing will come on all those who have hurt me. Lord do something special for each of them this day. Thank you Lord. I praise you in your mercy and goodness. I ask for the grace to always strive for peace, and to choose love over all things. Jesus I trust in you. Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us.

Dear children, love is bringing me to you – the love which I desire to teach you also – real love; the love which my Son showed you when He died on the Cross out of love for you; the love which is always ready to forgive and to ask for forgiveness. How great is your love? My motherly heart is sorrowful as it searches for love in your hearts. You are not ready to submit your will to God’s will out of love. You cannot help me to have those who have not come to know God’s love to come to know it, because you do not have real love. Consecrate your hearts to me and I will lead you. I will teach you to forgive, to love your enemies and to live according to my Son. Do not be afraid for yourselves. In afflictions my Son does not forget those who love. I will be beside you. I will implore the Heavenly Father for the light of eternal truth and love to illuminate you. Pray for your shepherds so that through your fasting and prayer they can lead you in love. Thank you.

My kingdom on earth is my life in the human soul

Continued from part I…

You will give the gift of Jesus through your own person. Jesus said to St. Faustina “My Kingdom on earth is my life in the human soul.”(Diary 1784)

Our Lady will give birth to the life of Jesus in your human soul. And this Jesus, the living Word made flesh will be birthed all more into the world, through your living flesh and the Word made flesh in you.

I repeat, Jesus said on Christmas day, “I am your peace…” and Our Lady echoes his word in how to not only carry the Divine peace of God in our hearts, so that His peace will come into this peaceless world. With that comes His strength and fortitude. We will be able to stand firm and confident all the more in the Lord as the trials come. We receive a peace that the world does not promise…this is DIVINE THAT ONLY COMES FROM GOD.

Friends, this is the peace the apostles had at Pentecost. Remember, they were in the upper room, in fear after Jesus was crucified. It wasn’t only until Pentecost the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and Jesus breathing on them that they were able to go out of themselves from that room in hiding and proclaim the gospel, even to foreign territories.

Come follow me

Our Lady says and repeats in her message, do not be afraid to open your hearts. You got to be empowered with the Holy Spirit. You need the Holy Spirit of Truth to convey the message, just the way Our Lady gives it. The Church needs a new dose of the Holy Ghost! Pray for the Holy Spirit to come, pray for a new outpouring of the spirit over you, your families, your parishes, and the world.

What is blocking us from acting on this call. FEAR! How many of you are afraid of the future? Look what is going on since all of you heard the message from Our Lady. Look at the visionaries. Every one of them are traveling and speaking around the globe. They are showing the world, it does not have to live in fear, but live with God. They are acting like the apostles of the time of Jesus, appearing in many places. They are the prophets, the apostles of our time.

We are called to do the same. Its by their witness friends, that show us how to live our lives. These visionaries, these dear chosen apostles of Our Lady have given up their lives to serve pilgrims, who day in and day out for 32+ years now welcome people in their home, speak to them, and leave their families to bring the message of Our Lady to the world. They are witness to hope. They are witness to Faith, and Charity. They go NOT AFRAID. Our Lady walks with them, and makes sure they accomplish what they are called to do for HER.

In this message Our Lady tells us how we can be her apostles. Prayer and reconciliation is the answer to how to put on her holy garments. With her help and God’s grace that she wins for us, We HAVE to defeat the sin in the heart and put it to death to allow the fruits of the spirit to abide in us. That means, every grace you seek, and are given, must be spent in works. Grace is useless unless it is put to work.

Keep praying for the Shepherds and your priests. We need them stronger than ever in this time to be victim priests with Jesus, and work tirelessly for the sake of the kingdom and salvation of souls. Support them by prayer, as they grow weary and tired pulled in many different directions. Do not judge them. They are chosen by God for their call, and the cross over them weighs heavy enough on them. Pray the Lord will enlighten them and strengthen them to live worthy of the call they have received, and the Holy Spirit guide them.

The Church of God, that is the Catholic Church has its work cut out for them. We are entering into a new time and phase of the call of Medjugorje. These are the days like the time of the apostles. It is time to act.

If you have been to Medjugorje, you above all have the utmost responsibility to act and live what you have received. The seeds of life have been planted in your heart. Do not let that seed die and go to waste, but let it sprout forth a new tree of Life for the Kingdom of God.

I close on this word of St. Louis deMonfort – “True Devotion to Mary”. We are living these times now!

“Mary has produced together with the Holy Spirit the greatest thing which has been or ever will be – a God Man; and she will consequently produce the greatest saints that there will be in the end of time. The formation and the education of the great saints who shall come at the end of the world are reserved for her. For it is only that singular and miraculous Virgin who can produce in union with the Holy Spirit singular and extraordinary things.

I have said this would come to pass particularly at the end of the world and indeed presently, because the Most High with His holy Mother has to form for Himself great saint, who shall surpass most of the other saints in sanctity as much as the cedars of Lebanon outgrow the little shrubs. These great souls full of grace and zeal, shall be chosen to match themselves against the enemies of God, who shall rage on all side and they shall be singularly devout to our Blessed Lady, illuminated by her light, strengthened with her nourishment led by her spirit, supported by her arm and sheltered under her protection, so that they shall fight with one hand and build with the other.”

If there is any question to who you are in this time, reflect on the words of this great saint. You have been chosen for this time.

Calling You Apostles of the Latter Times, part I

Today I thought I would share my personal prayer experience with this most recent message of Our Lady via Mirjana. I only write and post on this blog when I feel called to write.

Come Holy Spirit and bring a new baptism of your grace over us

Heaven was speaking loud this holy season of Christmas, with messages from four of the visionaries; all of whom were in different places. I have been praying my little heart out asking which message applies to my heart and family life, and how do we live it. Here we are now, several days at the close of the Christmas season and many things are coming to light in these message.

I encourage all to take these message to heart through deep contemplation. You cannot comprehend Our Lady’s words without prayer in the Holy Spirit, simply because Her words are authored by the Divine Author Himself. Let your hearts soak in the words, so that you are able to experience the Words from Heaven, and allow the little child Jesus Who was planted in your hearts to continue to grow anew in you.

For review below is the message of Our Lady given on 1/2/13 at the beginning of this new year. Keep in mind the extraordinary Word the Lord spoke as the infant child on Christmas day. “I am your peace, live my commandments.”

January 02, 2013 Message to Mirjana

“Dear children, with much love and patience I strive to make your hearts like unto mine. I strive, by my example, to teach you humility, wisdom and love because I need you; I cannot do without you my children.

According to God’s will I am choosing you, by His strength I am strengthening you. Therefore, my children, do not be afraid to open your hearts to me. I will give them to my Son and in return, He will give you the gift of Divine peace. You will carry it to all those whom you meet, you will witness God’s love with your life and you will give the gift of my Son through yourselves.

Through reconciliation, fasting and prayer, I will lead you. Immeasurable is my love. Do not be afraid. My children, pray for the shepherds. May your lips be shut to every judgment, because do not forget that my Son has chosen them and only He has the right to judge. Thank you.”

Our Lady began to remind us of her role as Mother. She is perfect Mother. A Mother with great love and patience for her child. A Mother who is teaching us how to be good. Wow! I thought, she wants my heart to be like hers. She wants me to have her humility, her wisdom, her Motherly love for those that God places in my life and those whom I meet.

Think about this for just a moment. We are talking about an Immaculate spotless heart, that flames and is burning out of love. A heart that is pierced, time and time again, by those who reject her, pay no regard to her, those who blaspheme against her Son and God, those who reject Truth, those who murder, commit sin and I can go on and on.

Her Immaculate heart feels pain for every bit of sin that opposes God and His Commandments, and all abuses to Her Son Jesus Christ and His Church.

Many of us don’t even realize it but we share in this pain with her already. But how are we expressing our pain is another story. Remember, this Woman the New Eve bared all in the silence of her heart, with the words ‘Amen, so be it‘ with great love and patience. This is exactly how she is speaking to us today, with great love and patience, putting up with us miserable sinful creatures whose hearts are cold, indifferent, slothful, critical, judgmental, boastful, puffed up, and well I think you can get the message here.

My heart burns and flames for love of you

Is our likeness unto hers? I know I absolutely fall short of her goodness, her holiness, and her obedience. But this is what SHE DESIRES, and wants to teach us how to do live this way. Friends, we have to give her our ear, so we know how. We do not know how. Don’t think that you do, because you are human, you are a broken creature, and filled with wounds of the heart and sin.

The Mother said it is God who wills this to be so. God has chosen you. God has given you as a gift to her to cooperate with her in this plan, to walk with her, and learn from her so that we can be a visible witness to her and her presence in the world. Friends, if you are chosen by God, then should be not ought to strive to live the call worthy of what we receive. We have to work all the more harder, for to be chosen by God is a great, great (and I use this word in universal terms, not in human terms) GREAT gift, but comes with GREAT responsibility.

Our Lady gives a remedy however. If we do walk with her, if we do in the little ways she is asking us then she said very clearly…

“…by His strength I am strengthening you. Therefore, my children, do not be afraid to open your hearts to me. I will give them to my Son and in return, He will give you the gift of Divine peace. You will carry it to all those whom you meet, you will witness God’s love with your life and you will give the gift of my Son through yourselves…”
