Let there Be Peace, because satan wants war

“Dear children, today like never, I call you to pray for peace; for peace in your hearts, peace in your families, and peace in the whole world, because satan wants war, wants lack of peace, wants to destroy all which is good.  Therefore, dear children, pray, pray, pray.  Thank you for having responded to my call.” (Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Peace 3/25/93)

Pray for Peace, satan wants war…

As I reflect on the message of Our Lady today, I am offering all my prayers for her intentions and her plans for peace, just as she asked me to do.  That means, my holy hour, holy mass, the rosary, my daily duties as a mother, any suffering or penances I am giving to her for her intention of peace, to help her obtain the grace for where peace is needed.

It could be for me or it could be in my family.  There may be arguments brewing or divisions may be creeping in because of differences.  There could be wounds or hatred among family members, or even in communities and parishes.

There can be the threat of war somewhere in the world.  Our Lady knows where she wants to distribute the graces, because she is full of wisdom and can see all things over the earth.  If she is seeing the works of evil in men’s hearts and what they are planning to do to cause division and war, or harm to other human beings, I trust Our Lady will multiply the grace from the prayer offered to her.

I trust in her words as if she were standing right in front of me speaking to my heart in the present moment.  So like any other war we have to have a battle plan, and a plan to thwart the efforts of the enemy in the war.  We have to clothe ourselves in her mantle of grace and with the armor of God through the blood of Jesus, to withstand all the tactics of the devil.

Our Lady gives us five stones to fight “our Goliath.”  What is our Goliath in our life?  What giant sin or obstacle are we not able to overcome.  She said the weapons we have to use are prayer, conversion, fasting, the holy bible, and holy mass.  These are the weapons of our warfare, and they are mighty for our God.  Remember, Ephesians 6 says, “our battle is not with flesh and blood, it is with un-holy principalities and un-holy powers, and the rulers of the world of darkness.”  Our battle is not with our fellowman; our battle is against sin.  The sins of human beings, the sins of the world, and sins through the temptations of the devil.

Satan has waged war against your soul, against all human beings.  He uses tactics that cut off our relationship with God, so he has power and control over us.  Therefore, we have to close all the doors from anything that could allow evil to creep into our hearts.

We may have open wounds, areas of un-forgiveness, hatreds or divisions for example.  Only bad fruit comes of these past hurts?  We harbor anger and hatreds against the other human being.  We are not able to see them as God sees them, because we are blinded with our own sin, and wish something bad to happen to them.  Through this, the enemy will come in and minister to our minds, memories, intellect, imaginations, to weaken our human will, and to enter our hearts.  Wars begin this way.  First war begins in the heart, and then against another, until destruction comes.

It is the same with virtue.  If we forgive, and pray for a blessing upon our enemies, pray for their conversion, and pray as Jesus did, “Father forgive them, they know not what they are doing…” then a grace begins to flow; healing comes, forgiveness comes, and births unity and peace.

What area in your life do you find that you are lacking peace?

Am I at unrest and causing unrest to those around me?

What can I do to bring peace into the environment I am in?

Choose to forgive in this moment, someone you have been unable to forgive.  Set yourself free from this bondage, and pray for the divine blessing to come upon them.

 Take quite time and reflect on these questions.  Write down your thoughts of all that may come to mind.  Bring it all into the light before God.  Then ask the Lord in your prayer;

Father what do you want to do for me so that I may be an instrument of peace to others?

As a sign to God make an act of charity as the Lord has inspired you in this prayer, and reflect on the following scripture…

Matthew 5:43-48 “You have heard it said, ‘you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.  But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes the sun rise on the bad and the good, and cause rain to fall on the just and the unjust.  If you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?  Do not the tax collectors do the same?  And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that?  Do not the pagans do the same?  So be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect’.”

Step out of the ordinary and do something extraordinary. Be a light to those in darkness.  Put aside your pride and show that Jesus is alive in you.  Love covers a multitude of sin and God will bless you.  Ave Maria!

 Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon: where there is doubt, faith ; where there is despair, hope where there is darkness, light where there is sadness, joy O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen.

Let there Be Peace on Earth

Let there be peace on earth
and let it begin with me
Let There Be Peace on Earth
The peace that was meant to be

With God as our Father
Brothers all are we
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now.

With ev’ry step I take
Let this be my solemn vow
To take each moment and live
Each moment in peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
and let it begin with me
