The Queen of Peace says, “My heart waits impatiently…”

Take courage, I have conquered the world

“Dear children! Today I am happy to see you in such great numbers, that you have responded and have come to live my messages. I invite you little children, to be my joyful carriers of peace in the troubled world. Pray for peace so that as soon as possible a time of peace which my heart waits impatiently for, may reign. I am near to you, little children, and intercede for every one of you before the Most High. I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (Medjugorje Message of 6/25/95)

I came upon this message today while reflecting in the novena for the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Apparitions of the Mother of God in Medjugorje.

I kept reading over and over this message with the Queen of Peace in prayer today. What struck me in the message were her words that said…“Pray for peace so that as soon as possible a time of peace which my heart waits impatiently for may reign…”

If there is any question to why the Queen of Peace has come to the world, I think it says why here. She has a mission to accomplish. And look at us. We are making it very difficult for her to accomplish the task, because we lack peace in our hearts.

Our Lady made no bones about the fact that we are living in a “troubled world.” But those who call themselves her children, she is asking us to be her witness to her presence in the world, of that vessel of peace.

This means when trials come, the floods come, the storm comes all the things that happen in our daily life, we should never be at unrest within, and accept everything as coming from God, and live in peace through it. This takes great courage, great strength to be able to accomplish this.

Those who go to Medjugorje obtain this grace from the dear Mother and pass through her womb which is the vessel of peace. Our Lady does not want war or strife among her children. A mother never wants her children to be restless and fighting. A mother wants her children to be united and get along.

Jesus said in his final discourse to His apostles “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid…”

By the words of the Lord, and through the messages of Our Lady we have an understanding that their is another level of peace that God wants to bring us into. This is a peace that is not known in the world but can only come from God. The Queen of Peace is the vessel of this gift of peace. If we have this peace from Heaven that only comes from God, we are able to stand firm in faith against the trials that come to us.

Think about this unshakable faith that is being offered to those who desire it. Look at Jesus who endured to the end. He was unshakable in every aspect of his suffering, and persevered with great love, to accomplish the mission that had been given to him. If we have the living Word of God enfleshed in us, we become this living Word, to withstand the hour of trial.

The Lord said in His agony in the Garden, “pray that you do not undergo the test.” We are in a time when the Church is undergoing a great test; that is a test of her fidelity to God.

Are we the faithful bride of Christ? Or are we the adulterous?

We are seeing many of her members falling from grace, and many notables in scandal. Those who we have put up on high pedestals are falling fast before our eyes. We have made them idols, forgetting it is only by the grace of God these human beings have been given, that they can be a witness to the Love and Mercy of God.

What is God saying in all of this. Our Lady recently said, “now is a time of decision…we can choose God or not…”

When we put human beings in high esteem in this way, are we looking above to heaven, or are we following the prophet and clinging to the prophet? This is a question that needs to be asked. It would appear that the Lord is removing the prophet from the public eye, as a way of saying, “keep the eyes of your heart on Him.”

Our Lady has come with a purpose. She has come with a mission, and she is determined to accomplish this task that has been assigned to her by the Father. And as she said above, she is impatiently waiting ON US to cooperate with her plans to achieve what she has set out to do. Heaven is on a schedule.

If we cannot get to the point of conversion that is asked of us, the Lord will bring us along in His way to drop us to our knees.

Remember, God wants your soul, but so too does satan. Who is going to win in the end?

Do not be distracted my friends by things of the world. The time of grace is running short. There is nothing more important now than to be ready for what is to come in the time of fulfillment. Ave Maria.

“I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” (Jn. 16:33)
