O Blessed Trinity, we thank you for having graced the church with Pope John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your fatherly care, the glory of the cross of Christ, and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him.Trusting fully in your infinite mercy and in the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you.Grant us, by his intercession, and according to your will, the graces we implore, hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.

Dear KCardinal, I recall the scripture from Matthews Gospel “the Father knows all that we need before we ask him; seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be given you beside.” (Mt. 6:25-34) We have been in a similar situation and actually were homeless for 3 months, but we placed great trust in the Lord to provide for us. And He did so in a very profound way. Claim this word and affirm to the Lord of your convicted faith an love for Him, and believe that He too loves you as much to provide for all that you need. Jesus asked those whom He healed, “Do you believe the Son of Man can do these things?” Believe with a firm faith, and allow the Lord to show you His immeasurable love for you. I entrust you all into the care of St. Joseph, patron of families, the sick and all who are in financial need. You are in our prayers! God is good.

Oh Blessed John Paul, we humbly implore your intercession for our dear friend in Christ, Bill. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 brain, lung and liver cancer. He has not had the opportunity to walk his daughters down the aisle, or experience the joys of being a grandparent. He is. Good and pious man.
If it pleases God, perhaps, dear John Paul, his cure could be the miracle you both need. One to give him a second chance at life, and one to elevate you to Sainthood.
